We have woken up this morning with the most amazing feeling, that feeling you guys get when you’ve packed up your cars, wobble boxes, motor homes to come and stay with us, because we are going away for a few days, mum and dad have just had a few days away and now it’s our turn, we haven’t been away since October 2019 and I have forgotten how to pack!!! I’m so bleeding excited!!!!

Who’s looking forward to sunrises over the hills and sunsets down at the beach!

Last night I had a message to say did you know BoJo had said you can open the toilets and showers today!!! WHAT!!!!!!!!

Because we have been busy getting everything else ready we haven’t seen any announcements!!! Our toilets and showers have not been cleaned since October it looks like The Adams Family home with all the cobwebs from the spiders that have moved in!! So at the moment we are sticking with our plans, our toilets and showers are NOT open, we had planned to use this month to get them painted and cleaned. Thanks BoJo for once again dumping us in it!!!!

We can’t wait to get back to what we love it’s been a very long winter!!!

Please remember from tomorrow until the 17th May the toilets and showers will be closed, the shop will be open 7 days a week, takeaway will also be closed until the 17th May, there are lots of places in the village open for food, check out our blog on the website.

More walkies in the sunshine, this one is up to that big ole Ariel that you can see from our site, a few of you may have gone on this walk and headed to the beach, but if you turn right instead of left to the beach, where the sign is to Roadway it will take you along this lovely walk, it’s a great little walk, only about 40 minutes, longer if you have whinging children and a pup that wants to stop to eat sheep poo!!!

On our site we have access to a green lane, it’s a lovely little walk and as long as you don’t have a pup like us you can walk all the way to Chapel Woods, a spooky RSPB reserve.
But please when walking along respect the fields and the pathway, pick up your dog poo because cows are generally in these fields are dog poop is toxic to them.

In between stealing the kids Easter chocolate and lounging in the sun I did watch some of the Corona update yesterday, and amazing news, all seems to be going well and we will definitely be opening on April the 12th.

So for those of you that have already booked to come over the next few weeks I have emailed you with all the info you need about coming and to remind you for your full payments.

Just to let you know that our shop will be open for all those camping necessities, gin, cider and chocolate, I mean milk, bread and bacon! But our takeaway is not open, I will be posting on our website blog about all the local places to go grab some food, yes we have a blog, go and have a nose.

Afternoon walkies to what we call the flying field, where the paraglider’s and hang gliders take off.

This is one of the footpaths that will take you to the beach, I didn’t go all the way because the pup was being a pain and he’s still only supposed to walk for 30 minutes, I’ll do it properly with fluffy bum.

I can guarantee the beach won’t be like this this weekend, we are staying well away, it has been crazy down there this week!!!

If you do come down for the day, please be respectful, take your rubbish home and don’t be tempted to try and stay the night!!!
