Situated on the North Devon Coast, set in some of the country's most beautiful coastline and countryside, there is access to the Southwest coastal path, the Tarka trail cycle trail right from the entrance. Whether you are looking to escape from it all with an outdoor adventure or for the ultimate beach break, simply relaxing on the beach, soaking up the sun and having a surf or swimming with family and friends, whatever your interests, Little Roadway Farm offers something for everyone. Just a 5-minute drive from the golden sands of Woolacombe Beach /Village and a 15-minute drive from well-known Croyde Beach.
Expect a relaxed welcome to our peaceful family-run site; as a family, we have owned the site for over 30 years, and we are all keen and experienced campers and understand how important it is to stay at a quiet, friendly, reliable campsite with good quality facilities, you can expect to enjoy panoramic green fields, peace and quiet, space and fantastic coastal walking and beaches, there is so much wildlife, whether it’s buzzards circling high in the sky or deer in the distance.
We endeavour to ensure every guest at our campsite has an enjoyable and memorable stay so they can return home feeling relaxed and refreshed.
If you like the idea of staying with us but don’t want to put up a tent in the rain, why not hire one of our glamping pods? We have family-sized ones that will sleep up to 4 people or will sleep just 2, or stay in Swift, our static caravan, which sleeps a family of 4 very comfortably. It is available on-site.
Just so you know, we do not take any adult groups; an adult group is four adults or more.

Sleeping under the Stars is our motto because the skies are so big and clear here that in the evenings, all you will want to do is star gaze!

We offer all the amenities you should require for a comfortable and pleasant stay,
Shop
Onsite is not your average campsite shop, no plastic tat; it’s more of a little farm shop selling fresh bread, meats, cheeses, milk that is produced just 10 minutes down the road, local rum and gin products, pastries and pasties, and we can also offer gas exchange when you have an empty bottle.
Next to the shop, we have the lounge (sorry we don’t have WIFI on site) where there are several sockets, books and DVDs. It is set up with sofas and a table and chair set for you to eat at. Great for walkers who don’t want to be couped up in their tiny tent.
Washing
Our toilets and showers are slightly different; one block (unisex block has cubicles (solid brick walls from floor to 2ft from the ceiling) containing a toilet, basin, and shower all in one, making it easier for families and single parents to shower. The other (only open during High Season) is your traditional toilets separate to showers, ladies and Gentlemen.
We do have a laundry room on site with a washer, dryer, and sink for hand washing. Here, we also have a freezer for you to refreeze your ice packs and a separate area for washing all those dirty dishes.
Kids
Onsite, we have a large play area in the middle of Laurel Field; you can pitch up right in front so that your kids can go off and play while you sit at your pitch and watch.
And if you need a baby bath, we have a separate room with a big sink in it, and the sink is easily big enough for a toddler who hates showers! And a changing table.
Dogs
If you don’t have kids to wear out but do have dogs, we have a dog walking field, which is an excellent place for your dogs to socialise and have a good burn about with their new doggy friends.

So it’s time to get holiday planning, I will say throughout January we did have a lot of bookings so if you’re looking for a pitch for (end of) May or August bank holiday don’t hesitate because electric wise there aren’t many left!!!
And if you’re thinking about a Glamping pod throughout the camping season then book now because they have been super popular this year, I blame last year’s weather!!!

I’ve been playing with food and I think I’ve nailed my breakfast special, loaded hash browns, I’ve settled on 2 varieties, traditional, mini hash browns, maple bacon, sausage, mushrooms and an egg and a veggie one, mini hash browns, honey halloumi, avocado, egg and a sweet chilli drizzle. I will also make both of these gluten free.

Have you been to Watersmeet?
Sitting just above Lynmouth it’s about 40 minutes away from us and it’s just magical.
From the fast running river to the magical trees you could get lost for hours walking around, we spent a good couple of hours walking around and we could have been there for so much longer, there’s a little cafe there (seasonal though so no cheeky treat for us, good job I always carry snacks!) and there are some great spots along the river for those that enjoy a cold water dip, we’ll be doing that next time we go, I can’t wait to go back when the leaves are back on the trees.

Some of you know my story, some of you don’t. I’m walking 62 miles in January to raise money for Cancer research UK, because who knows where I’d be without them.
My story is below and if you could donate I’d be so grateful ☺️
I’m Kerry and this is Reef, in April 2024 I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, which I found purely because my nipple had become shy, I had no lump, no discharge, no rash, no soreness, just a shy little nipple that was not out as much as my other, thankfully my doctor referred me to the breast clinic even though he thought it was hormonal, I’m 44 so it could have been a menopausal symptom. A week later I found myself at the breast clinic, where she thought it was hormonal, but still sent me off for a mammogram and ultrasound, the mammogram picked something up, a lump measuring 21mm, I had a biopsy there and then, a week later I had to go back for results, but I knew what they would be, so 6 rounds of chemotherapy, surgery to remove my nipple and on the 31st October I was cancer free.
Today I finished my last round of radiotherapy and then this challenge popped up in my Facebook feed, I believe in signs, so I signed up without hesitation. Can’t wait to get started and get my fitness back. 💕

Sundays are for walks, especially when the sun is shining. Yesterday we headed to Cornwall to Sandymouth beach in Bude which is just over an hour from us, it’s a beautiful big beach at low tide annoyingly pebbly at high tide so you have to get your timings right! But it has these amazing waterfalls that come from the fields, last February both Tim and I got under one of these, it was freezing!!!
Then we headed to Widemouth Bay just outside the town of Bude another beautiful big beach, perfect for dog walks. Next time you stay with us, head South and go and explore, Cornwall is really not that far from us.
