Our onsite shop is a little bit different to your normal camp shop, yes we have the milk, bread, crisps etc, all the essentials, but the difference is that the majority is plastic-free and as local as possible, we only sell milk and orange juice in glass bottles, cans of drinks, bamboo toothbrushes, natural deodorant, and we have refills for shampoo, conditioner, washing up liquid etc, so when your shampoo bottle has run out, don’t bin it, bring it in to the shop to refill, or why not try one or locally made shampoo bars!
Local products are so important to us, we have Cracking Nuts from Ilfracombe, we stock 3 different local ales and they are produced only 10 miles from us, cakes are bought in from local family, our meat comes from the local butcher, we generally stock bacon, sausages, burgers, chicken, mince and if you’re quick some yummy steak, we also have fresh bread, croissants and fruit and veg.
It’s not all food, I have some very crafty friends and you will find, sea glass jewellery, pottery and some beautiful chopping boards.
It’s a little Aladdin’s cave of gorgeousness!!
