Who got snow? We didn’t!

But it was freezing so I spent the day sat by the fire and uploading all these lovely warm beanies that I make.

Well that’s it, our season is over and what a year, it was a toughie this year, with the weather not being on our side through the summer, but it’s full of memories, shaved heads, hip replacements, rain, loss, food, lots of food and as much getting in the sea as we could fit in.

Thank you to everyone who came and spent their holidays with us, we are forever grateful for your support.

We will be taking a well earned break and spending time creating memories with our kids, they are growing up so fast so we need to make the most of them wanting to spend time with us!!

Just a mile and a half from us is chapel wood, owned by the RSPB there is a footpath that runs through our campsite that will take you to it. It’s a beautiful walk down and you only have to go on a little bit of country road to get to it.

These woods are beautiful whether you go in spring when the floor is carpeted with bluebells or whether you go in autumn when the colours are stunning and the leaves are crunching under your feet, however I always get an eerie feeling when I’m here, it was worse yesterday and I wouldn’t let the dog off the lead, he was my protector whether he liked it or not!!! I feel like I’ve always had a connection with feelings, spiritual life and for me there is definitely something in those woods, this doesn’t put me off and it felt worse yesterday whether that was because of the weather or it being the ‘spooky’ month I don’t know but I didn’t feel comfortable and really rushed round without fully appreciating the woods.

Next time your here take a walk to the woods and let me know what you feel.

Finally took dad out for his birthday lunch, it’s only 3 months late!!!

I have been wanting to try the @thelimekilnilfracombe since it opened and I was not disappointed the food is amazing, the staff lovely and the view just stunning.

Highly highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back for dinner I bet it looks amazing in the dark.
