May the 17th, the next part of coming out of lockdown. Now it’s not looking great for June with the new Indian variant doing the rounds, but May is fine you can run around hugging cautiously, I have no idea how that works but hey who am I to judge!
So what does the May road map mean to us, well we can open up the toilets and showers, wahooo, laundry room and lounge, however you will still need to wear face masks in these areas, not whilst showering that’s just weird!!
It also means that the village is coming to life even more, all the pubs are open, The Red Barn, The Jube, Bar Electric, Brundles, Tides Inn and they all serve food.
All of the shops are open some have a separate in and out so keep an eye on that one, also the barriers are back in the village to make the pathways bigger and safer around the shops, but that does mean that the parking outside the shops is limited, but all the main car parks are all open and you can park along the esplanade for just an hour (fees apply) But why go down the village for a loaf of bread when you can shop with us in your pj’s!!!
